Formerly an aquatic toxicologist contracted to the U.S. Army and currently a freelance reporter, Southern author Maggie Toussaint loves to write fiction. From journalling to short stories to full-length books, the lure of the printed word holds her spellbound. Her work explores themes of family dynamics and interpersonal relationships.
She’s published in mystery and romance. Her romantic suspense titles include House of Lies, No Second Chance, Muddy Waters, Seeing Red, and Hot Water. Her debut release, House of Lies, won Best Romantic Suspense in the 2007 National Readers Choice Awards. She was nominated for the Silver Falchion Award and finaled in the Beacon writing contest with Muddy Waters. Her mysteries include In For A Penny and On the Nickel, Death, Island Style, Murder in the Buff, and Dime if I Know.
