We are a fisherman family and this is the perfect spot for that. We fished everyday and caught fish every day. Our whole vacation was eat, fish, sleep.
Life doesn’t get any better than that.

There are loads of fresh shrimp being caught and the prices at the local docks are very reasonable.  I just bought large shrimp at $5.00 per pound from Ocean Bounty Seafoodat Valona.

Fishing is fabulous.  My guests from Augusta, Richard Johnson, Charlie, Brian, and John really caught the trout.  They were out fishing  during  the afternoon on Sunday around the Blackbeard Island areas and loaded the boat.  They cleaned the fish on the Serenity Place dock and the sea gulls were very happy.  Lin

“Captain Scott Dykes will put you on the fish. He is the finest guide I’ve ever fished with. Today I hooked 12 reds and boated six, the largest a 30-inch fish weighing ten and a half pounds. You fish with Captain Scott and you wonder if there are any small reds on the Georgia coast. A great day on the water!”  Robert Coram

Hello Everyone,  Visit Website:    http://www.georgialighttackle.com
The fall fishing season is here. The trout fishing is starting to pick, we have already had some great days and it will only improve.

The high tide red fishing has been unbelievable and will remain strong until the winter temperatures arrive. There are still a few good tides left so book a trip now.
We are also offering “Cast and Blast” trips this year. These trips are half day trips and combine a high tide redfish trip with a marsh hen hunt. These trips are available October 31 through December 6. Please call or email for the best dates.

The bull redfish have also arrived. These fish range from thirty to forty pounds and are a blast to target. They offer an opportunity to catch the fish of a lifetime.

Thank you for your business and please call or email if you have any questions.  Capt Scott Dykes    912-585-1593
